TONTRAKUL

TONTRAKUL is a new generation of Isan (the northeastern
region of Thailand) artist, who wants to create new
sounds for Isan music by experimenting with other musical
genres such as electronica, worldbeat, nu-jazz, and funk,
while still completely retaining Isan’s uniqueness.

TONTRAKUL or Tontrakul Kaewyong was born in 1992,
Chaiyaphum, Thailand. He is an expert and very interested
in Isan musical culture such as Morlam, Pin, Khaen,
Ponglang, and the combination of Isan music with other
genres.

TONTRAKUL has performed in many festivals and has
worked with many artists, including Singto Numchok,
Cocktail, Klear, Taitosmith, Rasmee, and Machina. In
addition, he is a band founder of ASIA7, HED, and
nisatiwa.
